Anthony Davis is out again.

Two games remain for the New Orleans Pelicans and fifty losses are in sight, but neither of these things are bad.

Fans have been forced to endure nearly a season long worth of disappointment as New Orleans hasn’t been in the playoff picture since November. Moreover, finishing with more losses than most could ensure the Pelicans move on more quickly from the Anthony Davis era by putting their faith in a new exciting young talent from the NBA Draft.

Speaking of AD, he’s out again tonight as the Pelicans tackle the Kings in Sacramento, but no one should be surprised. With players of various acclaim sitting out there rest of the season across the league, there’s absolutely no reason to play Davis.

Yes, we’ve seen the last of him in a New Orleans uniform.
