Fast times
Ferris
License to drive (first time I fell in love with heather graham :p ) :covri:

honorable mention to last american virgin

good honorable mention
i'll add Valley Girl - that was kind of my first glimpse into punk/new wave (aside from The Cold cyo concerts of course)

Kelly Le Brock was too hot for the answer not to be Weird Science.

I'd have said Fast Times at Ridgemont High, but I read somewhere that Phoebe Cates used a body double.

Not many have heard of it but the movie "RAD" was an 80's icon for me. BMX riding, the classic underdog story with a kickass soundtrack.

Not to mention a young Lori Laughlin.

I recently purchased Red Dawn. That should be considered an 80s teen movie. The original is better than the remake.

Secret Admirer was an underrated movie, and important to me for a few reasons.

Tough call but I chose Fast Times. Breakfast Club is right up there too but just about anything John Hughes was doing back then was up there.

What no Porky's? ;)....

It was a Teen movie. Since it was about high school kids getting their first piece...

Nice. Coincidentally, I watched Porky's 1 and 2 today since I hadn't really seen them since I watched my dad's bootleg VHS copies when I was like 10.

Breakfast Club
Weird Science
Goonies

I've seen most of these movies and the above 3 are the movies I liked and can watch to this day.

Fast Times for Spicoli + Mr. Hand + Phoebe & Jennifer + Judge Reinhold in the ridiculous hat (the treatment of his lousy jobs is like a young people's precursor to Office Space).

A few more worthy contenders:

Say Anything

The Outsiders

Tex

River's Edge

Stand by Me (technically, a "pre-teen" movie)

War Games
