found dead at 95 years old, in New Mexico home beside his wife and dog .. still developing .

Not a huge Hackman fan myself, but i know he has a following of people who thought he was our greatest living actor, or in the conversation , pun intended … godspeed .

What is the first film that you think of when y’all think of Hackman ? For me it’s probably Superman, then Unforgiven, then No Way Out, then Runaway Jury with Hoffman, then The Firm .

definitely Superman, but one of my favorites was Uncommon Valor. but i did like his character in Enemey of the State.

He and Robert Duvall were 1A/1B as the preeminent character actors of that generation (maybe any generation)
