He is a VERY good QB, infact top in the league, but the best? I think not.

I too was drinking this kool-aid... but have now since put it down... lets break down his numbers from last year, the year that made him become "CROWNED"

In an offense that is so overpowering with great numbers, especially in the air, it wasn't consistant performances by Breez at all...

They're just mad at that overrated poll that Eli did "well" on. Not only is Eli overrated, he's a bad actor. Peyton's the actor in that family. I don't even think they let Eli talk in that Oreo commercial. Mostly he just sat there and looked like a ... well, like Eli. While on the subject, sorry, Archie, but if I never see another Manning in a commercial, that'd be fine by me. Just enough already.

Only read the first page but it's not like they're completely unreasonable. The guy's main pointed is that Brees is overrated by those saying he is the best QB in the NFL ot in the slame category as P. Manning and Brady. I disagree with them but it's not like they're Panther-like lunatics with the arguments they raise.

If I'm right, the last time the Saints played the Giants, AT NEW YORK, the Giants never ran a play on the Saints side of the field. Every play the crossed the 50 yard line was called back and there was only a couple of them.

Ok, now if 1 Giants fan comes on here or even there & posts that we are idiots & have no FB IQ, I may have to sign up there. My new Jets fans friends warned me about NYG fans, now I know what they were taling about.

How can they agree the list to be Manning, Brady, Brees & he be considered overrated? I am sooo confused.

After reading too much of that thread all I can say is is that they are idiots. Their argument is Brees pads his stats against bad teams and sucks against good teams. They lumped the 8 wins from last year as the 8 bad teams and the 8 losses as the 8 good teams. That right there is idiotic. Not every team we beat was bad and not every team we lost to was good.

You can't look at just stats and think you know the whole story. Stat junkies who base everyting just from stats are idiots. Plain and simple.

Also, give Manning or Braddy our defense from last year then compare their stats from the games they lost and the games they won and I promise there winning stats will look much better than their losing stats. It's not rocket surgery. You don't have to be a brain scientist to figure this stuff out.
