They never have been a team to use the tag and the update on rotoworld says he is likely to hit the open market. He would be a nice addition as some on the board have mentioned.

I'd be in favor of signing him, if we would actually, I don't know, PLAY him instead of letting him ride the pine behind Bullocks, a la KK.

For what it's worth most articles I have read seem to think he is a lock to sign with the Eagles for some reason.

Gibril is the type of safety the Saints need. Bullocks is a special teamer, Kaesviharn is a nickel safety, and Harper struggled at times. The safety position is a huge need, and if we don't even consider Gibril, I'd be disappointed. He is a straight up football player.
