Oof.

Absolutely no excuse for it.

Back to the drawing board as they say.

Let's hope this fuels this team going forward. We'll find out quickly in Tampa.

This is worse though. We got beat up at home by a 1-7 team. The Titans were at home and now are 5-5. Plus, that game was competitive.
More a reflection of the way they lost. As Saints fans we can relate.

At least we aren't the Chiefs today.

Yikes.

You're right. They looked competitive vs a team that would probably stomp the Falcons whom had some historically bad stats on defense

Hopefully all the built-in excuses will not be there next week.

1. team reading their press clippings
2. payton getting engaged this week
3. offense relaxing knowing they are facing a crappy defense

Team has to figure out how to start scoring TDs in the First quarters, can't wait until the 2nd half every single week..

the Defense has been incredible for mostly all of this season but you can't expect them to bail you out of every situation, case in point today. There's going to be weeks where teams maintain drives and score on us and the Offense has to answer.

Especially considering this years version of the Saints just doesn't have the explosive chunk play potential for plays 25+ yards plus, that aren't YAC. Have to be more reliant on the Run with Murray, Kamara, and Taysom yes Taysom in the run game as well going forward.

Don't have the receivers outside of Mike to exploit secondaries, and Drew isn't 29 he can't hang in the pocket forever or escape when the initial reads aren't there.

Yep I started that thread about your biggest concern for the second half of the season and beyond and I said it was a slow start offensively.

And here we are. We finally got bit by it in a huge way.
