Go outside at 6:19 pm, Shuttle Atlantis coming home overhead (1 Viewer)

>>By the way, there's a total lunar eclipse this Wednesday evening!

That's the one where the earth, moon and sun all align and the moon turns reddish-orange. I'll see that tomorrow. Tonight, what, 6:49pm?

Very cool. Just saw them both fly out to the WSW of me. It wasn't quite as cool as the time the one shuttle was coming in for a landing and glowed orange with a double sonic boom, but it was still cool as hell.

It was too early and still too light last night here in Houston, but we saw the shuttle tonight. Wow, I love stuff like this. It was an awesome sight...

Lunar eclipse tomorrow is correct, TPS. I'll try to find some times for you. Fortunately a lunar eclipse takes place over a period of a few hours, so it's hard to completely miss it.

The eclipse is supposed to start in New Orleans roughly around 9pm but it sounds like the weather wont co-operate though. Its supposed to be cloudy with a chance of rain so we may not get a good view of it here.

There were alot of clouds and we must have been looking in the wrong place :(
