Depends on your definition of accolades.

He is a HOFer. Almost certainly first ballot. But definitely nowhere near GOAT. He has only won one road playoff game and that was against Nick Foles. Only the Falcons lose to Nick Foles in the playoffs.

Oooh yeah he got me. I'm as big a fan as any but the saints always fade in big games, away from their home dome, and against big, strong defenses. It doesn't help that they are missing critical pieces in Peat, etc, and i never understand why people say next man up, and rule that out as a reason for sub par performance. That absolutely is part of the reason for it.

I should amend the thread title. I do think Brees is all that! The Saints as a whole just seem to crap the bed against defensive minded teams; think Seattle x2.
