His (charred) remains are buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie. The site of his “cremation” used to be marked at Joshua Tree, but I don’t think it is anymore.

Yeah, knew he was in Metairie. I don't know where the specific gravesite is, though. What an influence this guy was for one so young.
