Not this stupidity again...
Wow, how do you beat that brand of logical reasoning? Case closed!Guess you aren't a fan of superstition or luck?
Nope. Fan of reason here.Guess you aren't a fan of superstition or luck?

???Not in the least. That is very sound statistical correlation analysis.
I was unpopular on SR for a while when I kept pointing out that the resort, the golf, the skeet shooting, the serious mental damage inflicted by the hideous floral wall paper, and the most important thing, the whiskey stills every 10 yards or so. It's a beautiful resort and countryside, but there's some really weird stuff going on over there that make Newalins Voodoo pretty lame looking - just sayin lol
The camp location could have had an effect. The Texans trained there this past season and went 11-5. So there really isn't any correlation between the camp location and performance.
Or it could be this!!!!??????It could be Greenbrier, or it could be...
1. Hiring Jeff Ireland to pretty much take over the drafting department.
2. Getting rid of Vitt and Johnson.
3. Hiring Glenn, Nolan, and Nielsen.
4. Signing Demario Davis and Alex Okafor.
The case had been argued so intelligently by others already that I felt there was little to gain by repeating their words verbatim.Care to give your reasoning for the increase in performance?
Thank you for your intelligent retort.
What player then?It was from a live video on social media. I don't think he saved it.
Companies, non-sports companies, do off-sites all the time. They spend billions to go away as an organization for "team building exercises". The effectiveness of these activities are up for debate, but it isn't a damaging activity to moral and/or productivity. There were so many other things that matter and factor into an NFL team's success to even really consider this as even a minor contributor to that less than stellar period. The camp location could have had an effect.
The Greenbrier (geographically) is located nowhere near New Orleans. Training camp gives players the opportunities to be near their families, hangouts, etc. There’s something to be said about having to work near familiar things. It’s a comfort thing. It affects some and it doesn’t affect others. Clearly it affected us.
