I was watching a highlights video of Johnson’s 2022 season and while such videos are obviously going to put players in the best light, his progression and athleticism are really evident. I’m encouraged about his future.

He's 250-255lbs now. Last training camp right before the season he said he put on 20lbs. Add that to the 230-235 weight from when he entered the league and that puts him in the 250-250lbs range.

Juwan is a great story. You love to see an UDFA put in the work, develop and get rewarded. A little Colston-like. Slower development because he changed positions but dude works his butt off and makes plays. I’m excited to see what he can do with Carr throwing him the ball.

When comparing the other available free agents TE’s… I’m glad we kept him. He has potential for a 1000 yard/10td season, which is very elite for a TE.
