Another fine article. Always enjoy reading his stuff. The stats at the bottom are a nice touch and sums things up nicely.

Offseason primer: Evaluating some of the things the Saints might look to do this offseason | Saints | theadvocate.com

Notable quote from article:
But the Saints have work to do. They need to find a pass rusher and some cornerbacks, and they need to figure out what they're going to do at guard. A middle linebacker wouldn't hurt, and depending on how free agency goes, they could have a need at defensive tackle.

so how many years does it make it now this exact paragraph could've been inserted into an offseason evaluation? Hopefully this is the last year for this same paragraph. :D

It's the little things that make Nick Underhill a masterful beat writer. A great example is the LAST line in the following paragraph in his article:

The Saints have a decision to make on Tim Hightower. The 30-year-old running back is due to become a free agent and is coming off a season in which he rushed 133 times for 548 yards. At the right price, he’s worth keeping around as insurance behind Mark Ingram until another option emerges. It’s worth noting that Hightower signed an agent after representing himself in negotiations last offseason.

The average reporter may have overlooked that in the article. Instead, the little nuances that he skillfully uses to "season" his article, makes nearly every one of his published works a cut above.

Well done; as usual.

:gosaints:

i dont think we have to put "good" infront of underhill anymore. he doesnt have bad articles. one of the best beat writers for sure. pays attention to detail. :9: great find OP.

From another thread:

The statement:

"Fantastic Underhill article..."

...is redundant.

Our fan base is blessed to have him as a beat writer.
