Former Grambling passer Bruce Eugene has been allocated to Frankfurt, the defending NFL Europe champs, by Tampa Bay.

Eugene signed with the NFL's Buccaneers after setting a Division I-AA record with 140 career touchdown passes and was ranked second with 13,350 career yards while at Grambling.

As a senior, he won Southwestern Athletic Conference offensive player of the year honors after completing 254-of-456 passes for 4,360 yards in 2005. Eugene's 369.3 passing yards per game and quarterback efficiency rating of 173.9 both were tops in I-AA.

That pushed Grambling to an undefeated mark in league play and the SWAC crown. Eugene also led GSU to a championship in 2002 as a sophomore under former GSU coach Doug Williams, and came one game away from another title try in 2003.
