Reviving this to add my son informed me that GTAV is currenlty free on Epic Games for PC until 5/21/20.

Yeah, the Single Player story is great and worth checking out, but in order to really play online you would have spend a lot of real life money to buy what you need to play the "free" expansions for GTA Online. That being said, it is kind of worth it because it's a lot of fun if you have people to play with. But, it gets old after awhile.

BTW, PSPlus members get a free $1M GTA V Online every month until the ps5 upgrade comes out. Just noticed it.

i just log in every day on pc and spin the wheel for free cars, clothes and money.. pretty much not much point in playing since PC is overrun with modders

GTA V is still selling well and the E&E version could keep sales strong for a few years if they update it. I wouldn't be surprised if GTA VI doesn't get released until 2026 or later.
