There is also this to consider into it , is that Granderson is a better run defender on the edge than Hendrickson. I believe Granderson is a better all around DE than Hendrickson at this point.

I 100% agree. T-Rex seemed like more of a pressure/pass rush specialist. He was pretty average vs the run. I think Carl G. & T-Rex are fairly close in terms of pass rush. They def have different styles, T-Rex being speed based & Carl G. more of a power/bull rusher, but the ability to set an edge vs the run is def in Carl G’s favor. Now we see Carl G adding weapons to his pressure arsenal. I personally think he can be a way more complete player than T-Rex was.

To me, there’s nothing wrong w/being a straight ahead all power bull rusher. Matter of fact, it seems like that’s the type of EDGE the team prefers. I mean, Davenport & especially Cam dont really rely on those fancy highlight reel spins & what not. These dudes just come screaming off the edge w/hand violence & speed to power. That also works well vs the run & Carl G totally fits that profile.
