I just heard this in ESPN while watching the game.
His grandfather was murdered at age 61. This was when Paul was in high school. In his next game after his grandfather was murdered he scored 59 points, but the game was not over yet. Near the end of the game he scored again and was fouled getting the "and 1." He then intentionally missed the free throw and checked himself out of the game so he could finish with 61 points! That is absolutely amazing! Chris Paul rules! 61 freaking points! Thats ridiculous!
