Almost. It's not a movie, but this destroys any other intro to anything ever...

I don't remember specific movie scenes enough to remember. However, it seems like same car chases and other immediate action scenes to get your attention at beginning of move, which work well for me, just make for typical lame endings at end of film.

best show on tv

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST!

The funniest has to be Super Troopers, but the best is hard to pin down. Trainspotting, Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypse Now, Gladiator, Jaws, Blue Velvet, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc. Impossible to pin it down to one best opening.

The opening scene to Lost in Translation ain't too shabby, either... ;)

I still think the opening of the Original Star Wars, when the small reble ship goes by, then the Star Destroyer rumbles across the screen. When you are 4 years old, that scene, esp at the cinema sticks with you

2001: A Space Odyssey.

Personally, I'm partial to any movie that opens with a little gratuitous nudity.:mwink:
