How many assistants/analysts can one college football program have....my goodness!!!! LSU football has to have one of the highest payrolls in all of college sports. Ed Orgeron is hiring everyone. By the way why would any team need two analyst for their special teams?

Doubtful. Orgeron purposely took less so he could have more for the rest of his staff. Also, "shadow staff" is the latest trend in college football. I'm not sure where it started, but Alabama has been implementing one for several years, now. LSU is actually behind the 8-ball with this.

So goofy Ed O is hiring McMahon? Shocker. I hope LSU fans enjoy kicks being blocked and no return game.

As of now, he isn't coaching. He's an analyst. These shadow staffs won't have much, if any, direct contact with players. Their main purpose is to breakdown film, look for trends and tells, etc.

As of now, LSU's coaching staff is full. So, McMahon or any other person can't be named as a position coach, unless the NCAA approves a 10th coaching position in April.

just when we finally get rid of him, tiger fans
keep living the nitemare. Condolences from
a mountaineer fan.
