very well deserved game ball. GW has taken essentially the same players (granted with a couple crucial additions) and turned the squad into a serious D unit. he has made a world of difference to this team.

I really agree with this. He does get a healthy Smith and Porter back. We've added Greer and Sharper, two guys that were allowed to walk by their former teams - one because of multiple players at his position (only to come back and shut down TO) and another because he was "probably too old to really play anymore."

The LBs have looked better than any year since Zaven. But the real difference is the attitude. I actually enjoy watching them play D now. I anticipate turnovers instead of watching with my hands over my face, catching glimpses between fingers. They are aggressive and work hard to get the ball back.

It really is exciting!
