Per Jeff Duncan via twitter:

Gregg Williams said he successfully petitioned the league to credit Charles Grant w/2 sacks from Bills game. Randall Gay lost the half-sack.

I wonder if Gibbs would have done that?

Gibbs would have read the stat line and reacted... but it wouldn't have done much.

Nice to hear that. I am glad that both Grant (sacks) and Smith (interception) are slowly coming back.

Is there a video of the play? Is that the one where Edwards got hit but escaped and a second later he was drowning under Grant?

I just checked the NFL.com game stats and the Gamebook, Both have been changed already to give Grant 2 sacks.

What's awesome is that it has nothing to do with the stats...and everything to do with our D Coordinator having his players' backs. It's like: If you fight for me, i'll fight for you. The half-sack doesn't mean anything for Gay (that's an interesting phrase I just typed), but it means a lot to our DE's.
