If he wasn’t here we don’t have the bounty fiasco which led to Payton’s yearlong suspension and disrupting our franchise during Brees prime years. So maybe we win one in 2011?

It's common to want to do a hindsight discredit of individuals who later give you reasons not to like them, but Gregg Williams was a huge part of that Lombardi trophy.

Probably. I mean, your assuming that Gregggg is as good as it could get, and that we're not considering replacing him with any number of other competent folks instead, which seems silly. I think with little effort an even better outcome is easily imaginable with say a Vic Fangio or a Jack DelRio, or a Wade Phillips and then nobody's questioning Drew's the GOAT with his 4-5 rings...
