That’s the word that best describes my feelings today. It’s a sports fandom grief of course, but yet it is.
Dozens of posts on social media reminding me every hour what happened do not help.
The way our team did not show up; the sudden ugly performance by our GOAT; and the everlasting randomness of officiating calls, these things haunt me quite a bit.
It was a fantastic three-years window that closed (sadly, I believe that) in such an inglorious fashion.
I couldn’t expect a game like that by our team. I thought that last year’s armed robbery would strongly motivate our organization. Everybody was to give 110%. We hardly played at 70% of our capabilities instead.
It’s like the toll of the NFCCG is coming down right now, when the first and maybe best chance to get revenge is over.
I’m a very sad fan right now.

When I realize how crooked the NFL is...and how we had an uphill battle all season...the fact that our team didn't show up didn't bother me as much as I thought it would because if they had somehow won that game the refs would've got them next week...the week after (the NFCCG game? Unheard of!)...or in the Superbowl. As another poster stated...we will never win another Superbowl as long as Goodell as commissioner.
