At what or who? You? I don't want to be thought I am perennially P'Oed off and hope I don't come across as such. Maybe I do. God knows there's a lot of things to be PO'd about; and at its core, a fundamental change in how women are seen in society needs -- NEEDS -- to change.

I know who I am. I know I am smart. I know I don't know everything, but I know a lot of things and I want to learn more things. I might get mad at someone who treats me like I'm stupid, but I also know it says more about their intellect than it does mine and my opinion will be that THEY'RE stupid. It doesn't make me doubt my own mind.
Oh my gosh, no! You're hilarious. I was just making a lame joke relative to your response to the exposed cleavage post...

...but I honestly would be afraid if I somehow made you mad at me. :hihi:

I think the Racial comments directed towards Smith were abhorrent. I do not know the story about the cheerleader photos. If they were not given permission to share then that is a horrible action. I am understanding that it is reported Bruce Allen sent that to Gruden. You cannot use homophobic remarks in cancel culture. I do believe that Michael Sam was directed to get drafted. ESPN was at his day with his partner. ESPN is who Gruden worked for when this happened. It was not the NFL he was employed by, but ESPN when many of these emails took place. I do not like any of this. I believe Goodell is behind leaking these emails. He did so with Bountygate. He banned Barstool sports when they put the clown face up from reporting from the Super Bowl. Matt Patricia faced scrutiny for his Goodell clown face shirt, and his own wife started a fake twitter account to fight those who criticize Goodell. Michael Goodell, Roger Goodell homosexual brother called Michael Sam an instant legend. This is personal for Goodell. There are two wrongs in this scenario. This is now where my problem is realized. These emails never get out. No one is ever hurt. Now for two days there have been attacks on Gruden for these comments. I believe they are justified. Not just by those doing it. The truth is that when it comes to sexual orientation, Gender, Race, Bias, and overall Conversations. Some things are only meant for a few ears. Not everything that is said is within a vacuum. If I knew someone was going to go through ten years of my emails to friends and working colleagues. They picked out a few things I wrote. I would look like I am a terrible person. I believe this would be the case for anyone. Sometimes I have a rapport with people that I do not have with others. I can speak with them in a inoffensive manner using words other would deem offensive. I do not do it around them. It doesn't mean that I intrinsically feel how those words are meant or expressed. I think Jon Gruden did. They are just words. I do not understand how we are all of the sudden berated on how disgusting this language, and these bias are in the media by men who did the same exact thing. How is Keyshawn Johnson going to call someone a fraud? While working for ESPN. How hypocritical is that? He was arrested for beating a former girlfriend if I am not mistaken. All of these alpha-males want to preach that this is no way to act. They have all done it. Men have all said in privacy around other men something egregious. I respect the fact that Carl Nassib has come out as homosexual. I did not think it was a big deal. I don't think sexual orientation should be a big deal.
His boss called him a bad name. He took a personal day at work? He needed a personal day to process this? How much does this man make? He graduated Penn State. Do you know what happened at your alma mater? That Penn St. That was a scandal. This is some personal emails. We are blowing this way out of proportion. You found out your boss was an butt crevasse. Hell, I find that out all the time. He doesn't like an employee because of a characteristic, or a bias. Which happens everyday in the workplace. This happens whether you are in the NFL or at McDonalds. You go to work. You blow it up. I want to just say that I believe that this is an attack on masculinity. The ridiculous racist comment is horrible. It made me sick to my stomach. When you cannot correspond with a friend in a trusted state. Then your rights are gone. What you say in seven years of conversation is picked over, and turned into this. This was an investigation about a team across the Country with a trainer under investigation. It is scary to anyone who has ever had an offensive conversation in a bar, at your house, I have had numerous XXX videos sent to me through snapchat. Can all of this be used against anyone? This man lost his job and did not break any laws.
This is what is so scary about this situation. This man lost his livelihood because of a scandal pushed by a movement which he trusted would never been read by anyone else but a trusted colleague. That is infringement upon a freedom. He did not do anything illegal. He is not working anymore. This can happen to anyone now. Those who are calling him these names have been doing the same actions for over twenty years. Many have had charges brought upon them. It should scare all of us.
Thats a long rant, but really? many many people, if not most get fired or lose thier job without breaking any laws, tats not some kind of requirement.
Like Goodell or hate Goodell (which most do, escpecially here), but there isn't one person on this planet who wouldn't get fired for calling their boss what Gruden called Goodell. You can cal it cancel culture, whatever. Does it matter if he worked for the NFL at the time? He worked for Goodell when it was found out. Honestly, you wouldn't fire an employee who called you that out of anger and hate? Gruden has only one person to blame and that is himself. he wrote the emails, no one else. I guarantee he isn't gonna be the last one to go when all of this WFT stuff comes to a head.

Last year we had a vendor delivery driver who was making a big deal about having to wear a mask, so he preceeded to pretend to cough around a couple of the employees. then a few days later, he tested postive to covid. Damn straight i called his boss and told him what happened (had it on video) and guess what, he got fired. Guess what? he didn't work for my company OR the plant we were at, but he got fired. Life has conseqences, some people just don't realize it until its too late.
And if Gruden would have still been working for ESPN, he still would have been fired. Bank on that.

Okay, I actually read all of that but it was difficult with no paragraphs to help the eyes. So it was sort of hard to follow and I felt like you were all over the place, but maybe I misunderstood

However, I did pull out the comment about Keyshawn because I have the same thought watching Michael Irvin every week. He is allowed to pontificate and bloviate his toxicity all over the place.

Naw, we're good. I know it was a lame joke *snerk* I just took the PO'd notion and went off with it. I'm sorry it sounded pointed at you.

Man, what “I wish for,” is for everyone like Gruden to be publicly shamed and humbled to the point where we’re no longer asking oppressed minorities (aka THE ACTUAL VICTIMS) to demonstrate “grace” by perpetually being forced to tolerate their own oppression. It is layers upon layers of insulting psychological trauma and every day we allow it to continue is a tragedy.

I have lost quite a bit of respect in certain people who have shown a disappointing lack of support for this effort, Brees included. If Payton were proved to have a similar history as Gruden, he can kick rocks too.
If the conversation was just around DeMaurice Smith and the anthem stuff, Gruden would probably finish out his 10 year contract. When the words "homophobic" and "misogynistic" began being a part of the headlines, it was a wrap. People wanted to "cancel" Dave Chappelle over his last stand up but the NFL proved him right. You have a majority black locker room and the "other stuff" is what pushes him out? Blacks are applauding this like we were really a major part of the equation to get him out, when the thing directed at blacks was going to get cleaned up. For me, it's not about demonstrating grace but recognizing that some that align as allies may just want to do it to benefit off your struggle. Again, this is more of a face to face open forum type conversation as opposed to typing ideas on the internet.
