The New Orleans Saints will make another visit to Tulane University’s Yulman Stadium on Saturday, August. 4, holding a two-hour night practice in front of fans. The Saints have made the trip during training camp for several years, and usually enjoy a strong turnout in a festive atmosphere. Practice is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. and wrap up at 9:00 p.m.
Before that, practice will be preceded by a Black and Gold Fan Fest. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and live music will be provided. Team mascots Gumbo and Sir Saint will also be making the rounds. This free event is open to the public and will begin at 5:00 p.m. and run until 6:30 p.m., giving fans plenty of time to move from Brown Field (near the Reily Center) and into the stadium. Gates open to Yulman Stadium at 6:00 p.m. ...
Parking will be available in the Diboll garage (on Ben Weiner Drive) for $5 per vehicle, and non-reserved spots are open around Tulane’s campus. But spaces will be available only on a first-come, first-served basis. Tailgating is not allowed inside the campus and the Claiborne Avenue neutral ground will be closed, however. ...
