Apparently it is true GNR got their act together and we may even have a tour. The tour is due to come to New Orleans but no venue has been announced yet. I wonder if GNR even makes it through the whole tour?

I hate to be negative but I have to say I'm not interested at all in this. The only GnR I would want to see is....

Got my tickets today through the superdome venue presale password. The prices are not nearly as bad as I expected.

GNR broke up years ago. This is a ****ty version of what used to be Axl Rose and the only four guys in music who will tolerate him.

Ever think this new lineup maybe better than the old one? Axl just became the new lead singer of AC/DC as well. Seems Axl has changed his ways and the music industry has noticed.

I certainly agree with that (the "better" part is subjective) however for me, and relating to my earlier comment, it was all about the vibe of the first album/LPs. Even UYI was too different for me from the AFD. Not bad of course, but there was refinement and streamlining going on that veered away from the rawness of the first album.

Sounds good to me

Reading some of the reviews in other cities and they are very good. GNR performs for 3 hours non-stop. I remember back in the day AXL could not make it 10 minutes without complaining.

My cousin saw them last week in atl and said they were great. Nthe cult opened and then gnr played for 2.5 hours.

They were freakin fantastic! They played for nearly 3 hours with no breaks. There were no weaknesses in the performance. If that was the last of their legacy, it would be no injustice. It was worth every penny and then some.

I just wish the show started at 7 instead of 8. I have to be at work at 7:30AM, and it's a 40 mile commute. We ended up leaving after NightTrain and missed the encore.

Great great show though! I loved the Wish You Were Here going into the outro from Layla preceding November Rain.
