In their first NFC South game of the season, the New Orleans Saints enter halftime with a 17-10 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The Saints, with Teddy Bridgewater starting his third game in place of the injured Drew Brees, scored on a 14-yard touchdown pass to Michael Thomas, a 29-yard Wil Lutz field goal and a 9-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jared Cook. Thomas had a huge first half with six catches for 102 yards.

The Bucs scored on a 26-yard touchdown pass from Jameis Winston to Chris Godwin. Their score was set up when a Bridgewater pass bounced off Alvin Kamara and to Bucs defensive back Sean Murphy Bunting. ...
