He turned 80 years old today. He's still with us. The house of the rising sun is on the Mt. Rushmore of songs in my opinion. I love the Animals. They were the original bad boys of rock and roll.

You assume correctly, many remakes are a poor imitation of the original.

I was never a fan of hair metal. Imo, Motley Crue did a better version of Smoking in the boys room than Brownsville Statiion.


Imo, again Judas Priest performed the best version of Johnny B Good.
