LSU’s Jackson back in Mobile for Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. — As a youngster, Chevis Jackson would leave his Cecilia Street home and make the short trip around the corner and up the street to Ladd-Peebles Stadium to get autographs and other keepsakes from future NFL stars attending Senior Bowl workouts.
Jackson, who would go on to become a star wide receiver at St. Paul’s Episcopal School, got a pair of gloves from Cincinnati Bengals wideout Chad Johnson and also met San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson — among others — during his visits to the practices.
This week, the shoe was on the other foot when Jackson, LSU’s All-Southeastern Conference cornerback, returned home to take part in the Senior Bowl workouts as a member of the South squad. Full Story – Advocatehttp://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/14018712.html
