i noticed on team roster there is no 96, but however there are some players without a roster number. Does that mean they have no number assigned yet or is it that they share a number with another player with it being preseason and limited numbers being available

Although I put the current 97 on there I immediately think Renaldo Turnbull anytime I think of saints #97.

Despite losing both Rankins n Brown, the Saints didn’t go after any DTs. IMO, Roach is one of the reasons why!

Coming in at number 96 Carl Granderson

Carl Granderson played high school ball in California. He went on to play his college ball for Wyoming where he started for three years at defensive end. He was a two-time All-Mountain West selection who totaled 172 tackles, 17.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, forced 3 fumbles, over his four years there.

Last year in very limited action Granderson had 5 sacks and one pass defensed. This could be the year we talk about Granderson quite a bit as he is projected to fill T-Rexs former role
