I think other players have probably have rituals that would put Hargrove's to shame. It's just that Hargrove does not have the filter to keep some things to himself. Most of us could benefit from a little psychoanalysis every now and then.

I heard that interview, and although I believed what he said to be true, he also seemed to be laughing about it, like he knew it was strange, which is better than really being serious. Isn't it true that if you are really crazy, you don't know it? He WAS laughing...
When he came into the game, I thought about that interview, and then I was totally impressed by the passion of his play. He, like another poster stated... looked hungry and was giving it his all. I guess if you can play like that on a consistent basis, you can be a little strange, and the knowing it is strange I still think is important.
