Might as well give him a jersey that says 50something on it. Look at all the times when we basically play one safety. Harper is playing LB in our 3/4 sets.
Yes, it seems we are just as much a 3/4 as a 4/3.

I don't know about the specific plays that you are talking about but it is common in the 46 defense and, I believe, in double eagle for the SS to move up and play linebacker.

Not saying there is anything wrong with it at all. Its working.
I would say Harper has an outside shot at going to the PB this season.

He is playing better LBer then Shawn Mariman

There's nothing wrong with that. Harper is a great blitzer and plays the run well. What makes GW a great d-coordinator is that he recognizes that and doesn't try to make him into something he's not.

Did anyone notice Harper on Bradshaw's TD run run..He had containment on that side but when the ball was snapped Harper took off to his right and Bradshaw commenced to walking in the endzone. Not a knock on Harper, just watch the video, almost kinda funny.

Is that the play where Vilma had Bradshaw lined up and then completely whiffed on the tackle? I couldn't believe my eyes. The whole play was a comedy of errors.
