In an age where it’s almost impossible to even get a single positive yard on a punt, and the rules are stacked against even trying to return a kick off....

How does a little unknown undrafted rookie from Assumption College produce a SIX MINUTE highlight tape of returns.

It’s mind boggling.

Enjoy.

Awesome highlight! Thanks. I know a couple of those were called back but great freakin running.

There's so much to say about this kid. Did I hear that right that he set the college record with 14 return TDs?

It's one thing to put a speedy, shifty guy back to return punts and kicks, but it's something else to put a guy back there that has made their reputation on returning kicks. He knows how to navigate the open field.

Additionally it's a telling sign that, in critical situations last season, Sean went to this guy for a big play or critical conversion. The dude is going to be a star. He has Sproles level shifti-ness with Cooks level speed.

And he was a rookie! Really excited for this young man.

The number of times you hear “flag down on the play” is depressing. Some were terrible falls (the TD return in Chicago being Exhibit A), but it’s something we have to clean up.

But yeah, Harris is special.

How about the Tennessee game.

He had FOUR return highlights IN ONE GAME.

3 kickoffs, all past the 40. 1 punt, took it about 20 yards.

This cat is special!!!

He needs a nickname... I know some posters here hate that, but I’M SO BORED! Let’s brainstorm some nickname ideas for the kid...

“Flash” Harris
“Squirrel”

Didn't Bill Parcells remark that he reminded him of Tommylee Lewis?

Anyway, I'm happy to finally have a return specialist. Thank Taysom Hill for that. Without him, I doubt Payton allocates a roster spot for a specialist, he's very stingy with roster spots. Also, look out for Harris in the offense.

Watch out for Harris this year in the offense. Sounds crazy but he may become the 3rd wide receiver option on this team. Also, Payton is likely working on a package for him.

He reminds me of Sproles, mostly the attitude. He puts on a mean game face and plays with anger. After a good run back, he goes to the sideline all serious. He has a lot of Sproles' moves and quickness too. He's not easy to bring down, breaks a lot of arm tackles by changing direction. He has a rare combination of talents and traits. When someone breaks so many NCAA records, there's a reason for it. I don't care if he's 5' and 140 pounds, there's a reason a returner (or RB, or WR) smashes records. Get them, give them a chance.
