Harris.....Wow (1 Viewer)

Didn't Bill Parcells remark that he reminded him of Tommylee Lewis?

Anyway, I'm happy to finally have a return specialist. Thank Taysom Hill for that. Without him, I doubt Payton allocates a roster spot for a specialist, he's very stingy with roster spots. Also, look out for Harris in the offense.

If Parcells said he reminded him of TLL....then I have seriously lost respect for Bill’s recent evaluation abilities.

Harris is the exact opposite of TLL in every way, other than size.

Agreed, he is obviously faster, but also quicker (which is more important) and has great open field vision which TLL never had really....

That TD against the Seahawks was the catalyst that got this team out of the Brees injury slumber. I had zero expectation we'd win that one heading into it. Hope Harris can play here as long as he's able to make plays.

And, man, if Taysom just gets those deep passes on more of a "rope," those TD passes will come in bunches.

I think he’s the best we’ve ever had there. And we’ve had a few good ones.

I love how he hits north to south on his returns, like he should do. No dancing, no East to West, just run right past an over pursuing STer. Love this dude
The North-South thing is noticeable. It seemed to me that when opposing ST coaches saw it, he started to do more lateral moves. I am not sure you can teach what he does.
It's hard to believe that he may turn out to be even better than Tyrone Hughes, Mel Gray, Michael Lewis, and Darren Sproles--but it's quite possible. We may be looking at the next Devin Hester.

He's on his way to that status, yes. Play well over the course of at least one (hopefully two) contracts, and he's challenging for tops on any all-time Saints team at PR and KR.

I’ll go a step further my good sir..and I’m usually viewed as more negative than positive..I think if he continues for his whole career at this pace....and that spans about 8 or so years, he will be the best returner the game has ever seen.
*If the kickoff rules allow it.
