Any reported sightings or stories? Or has he been holed up in his penthouse suite ordering room service? Haven't really heard anything so far.

OK, let's uderstand this: He is the CEO of a big, big, company, facing the most complicated 3 day convention. This agenda is full, and has been for a long time now.

He won't have 5 minutes free to go to the local Starbucks and share an triple-expresso with Peter King, so if you are not a member of the NFL community, are part of the head staff of a big sponsor, or are the head waiter, chances are you won't see the man. Even if by chance you see him, you won't be able to talk to him.

So chill, the guy is not hiding, he is just busy, and would be the same in Indi, Miami, San Diego or New York if the Super Bowl was there.

I honestly hope no one talks or yells at him. I'd like the Super Bowl in NOLA again!
Goodell doesn't choose where the Super Bowl goes, the owners vote on the bids, and it seems the league does pretty well when they come here.

Over and over again it's been stated he only did what they told him to. He knows he's hated here but that's the territory they chose, and as such I don't think he's taking it too personally. His grudge is against our franchise, not the city. Despite what he's taking on the chin this week, we'll still get another one in the next 6 years. JMO.

Hopefully we'll have another commissioner by that time.

Would be wonderful but I don't see it happening. Too many goons in NFL and franchise front offices that have his back.

The commissioner has great say over where the Super Bowl is held. You think Goodell wasn't the driving force behind NYC getting the game next year?

Pretty sure the group that selects the Super Bowl venue and Goodell have an agreement of sorts. He gets to pull rank when a stadium is built or partially financed with tax dollars, otherwise he stays out the way.

If New York doesn't build a new stadium they don't host a Super Bowl. In fact, unless you are New Orleans or Florida cities very rarely host a Super Bowl without building a new stadium with help from the tax payers. Cities that are north of I-10 never host the Super Bowl without stadium deals.

2014- New York- New Stadium with help from taxpayers
2013- New Orleans
2012- Indy- New Stadium with help from taxpayers
2011 in Dallas- New Stadium with help from taxpayers
2010 in Miami
2009- Tampa Bay
2008- Pheonix- New Stadium with help from taxpayers
2007- Miami
2006- Detroit- New stadium with help from taxpayers
2005- Jacksonville
2004- Houston- New Stadium with help from taxpayers

San Diego has had 3 Super Bowls but none since 2003 and since that Qualcom has become one of the worst Venues in the league and the NFL and Chargers want a new stadium. They will hold the Super Bowl as leverage until they get one.

2015- Pheonix will get its second super bowl, the first since 1996 without building a new stadium.

2016 since the Super Bowl has gone without Florida for 7 straight years or more only once. Plus it will be Super Bowl 50 and the NFL will want to guarantee a good time. Only other possibility is L.A.

2017 it will probably go to either Miami or L.A, which ever loses out on the 2016 game.

2018- Will go to Houston unless a team gets a new stadium in the next 2 years.

The way I see it, 2019 is the next chance we'll have to host a Super Bowl and this whole mess with Goodell will be long forgotten for the most part and with him only having some influence the only way his treatment in New Orleans is a factor is if someone shoots him in the face and even then we don't have to worry about what Goodell thinks.
