And it's hardly just a woman thing, but the overall "woke" thing. Anything he deems as Disney trying to be woke will suffer his wrath, or something. Seems like every new MCU related thread, he's gotta make his idiotic, outspoken opinion known. It's beyond old.
Well this is more truth than what Widge wrote. I agree he hates the wokeness, but I stand by what I said that Widge was strawmanning.

You can’t really straw man someone whose entire worldview is based on a straw man

plus, dude is basically just parroting the idiocy of anti-woke youtubers like The Quartering and other virgin neckbeards

It's not just Disney. It's anything or anyone. See the Doctor Who thread after Jodie Whittaker was announced as the 13th Doctor.

Just because someone's position is really easily shown to be false, doesn't mean that the person knocking it down made a strawman. Sometimes, the poster/person makes the strawman for everyone to knock down. And, often it is done so that they can then play the victim card and report how the "woke police" came down on them.

And again, if you think that what I wrote was some exaggeration of his position for effect, then you really need to review his posting history. I might have even been too kind since I didn't mention all the things that go beyond issues with women in media.

Ok, enough screentime for Jeff Miller...

I'm happy with seeing Kate on screen, but I'm hoping Marvel hurry up and start bringing in the other members of the Young Avengers.

Hell, continue playing nice with Sony cuz you now have a way to bring Miles into the MCU with the upcoming Spider-Man movie.

Reports are actors have been contracted already for several of the other Young Avengers who haven't yet appeared on screen, though no one seems to know which films are going to feature any of those new characters first.

Cassie should be getting her wings in Quantumania. Riri will debut in Black Panther 2. Which is coming first, Kamala's show or the Marvels movie? Wiccan and Speed need to be aged up. Who else would they add if not Nova and Miles who are in the current run?

I've never said any such thing
Then you haven't been reading his posts for years. No straw man building was necessary.

I think there can be legitimate criticism for some of the things Marvel has done seemingly only the in the name of "wokeness", as Tenordas mentioned above, but Jeff has long bashed on Marvel and anything else that doesn't fit his specific world view of women and I think the vast majority of those criticisms have been highly unwarranted. Not to mention almost always drive by posts with no follow up or discussion of his position.
I've never said anything such, there is a long history of great characters of BOTH genders and multiple races and stories to draw upon from decades of both comics of and science fiction that don't include gender/race swapping existing characters to erase their histories and replace them with undeveloped marry sue carbon copies to please the woke SJW crowd on twatter.

Buy hey, you guys that love this crap, enjoy it while it lasts, they are all losing money hand over first and its just a matter of time before the dumpster fire creative burns to ashes.

Thinking through the characters of Young Avengers, you're right. The only ones who haven't shown up yet are Kamala Khan, who is slated for a Disney+ series next year, Ironheart (Riri), who is reported to be in the cast of Wakanda Forever, and America Chavez, who supposedly is in the cast for Multiverse of Madness.
My statement is out of date now. All have been introduced or are slated to be within the next year.

I'm still wondering if the Thunderbolts, also being introduced over the last few and coming films/series will be combined with the Young Avengers or if it will two different groups.
There are rumours of a series or set of films of Thunderbolts vs. Dark Avengers, but right now they only seem to be rumours. I'm not sure I've noticed any set up for the Dark Avengers yet, but that could be coming, of course.

It's to be expected that we would see a lot of female characters in the MCU. It shouldn't surprise anybody to find out that half+ of the people in the world are female. Is it too much to understand that half of the people who acquire skills/powers/abilities would also be female?

We're really going to hear some whining when Hulkling is introduced. Wiccan has already been introduced, but as a child. Wait until a certain segment of our population find out about him.

I'm going to floor some here by pointing out that white, American, males are not the majority in the world and it makes sense that we'll see Asian, African, etc. characters to be more representative of the population as a whole.

I legit knew exactly what his first post would say when I saw his name on this thread and he's been on my ignore list for years.
