Final Analysis
Miami's defense gave us some trouble early, but once Mike Bell came in, our running game showed up. I don't know if it was fresh legs or what, but it got hot in the 2nd half.

Bell ran very well today. Even without his sweet 35-yard scamper, he averaged 4.0 on all his other carries. He just kept popping defenders. Neither PT nor Bush got many carries and didn't get much going. Bush did have a very nice run off a double reverse, including leaping in from the 6-yard line.

Receiving-wise, Bush was targeted 6 times with only 3 receptions. He dropped one, another was defensed, and another was a poor throw by Brees. He had a nice catch-and-run for a 1st down and also broke a tackle and juked away from another. PT had only one reception on a screen and ran well. It probably would've gone further if his blockers had gotten out in front. They were too slow and he had to run by them.

Through 3 quarters, our pass-run ratio was 67-33 and we ended the game at 58-42. Well, we were down 24-3 mid-2nd quarter so we had to pass more early, but we entered the 4th trailing 34-31 and our split for the 4th was 8 passes and 12 runs. Considering we trailed so much early and never held a lead until 8 minutes left in the game, we ended with a decent ratio that doesn't look too out-of-place.

Bushs' 3rd down pass was a thing of beauty. He broke a tackle, walked the OOB line and juked another defender before being slammed to the turf by David Thomas. Speaking of david Thomas, does the guy ever come out the game? It seeems he and Evans are in on almost every play.

Nice breakdown.

Stupid rep system with it's spread-around/24hr stuff... at least I could green thumb it, so you get 1/4. These are always appreciated, and it'll be fun to pull together all of them around week 10 or so.
