TV HBO's Westworld (1 Viewer)

Finally got around to watching this show. I stayed away from reading about it or friends telling me too much. I’m glad I did because I enjoyed the twist and turns. Looking forward to season 2.

Well, at least we have season 2 this spring to look forward to now... :apat:

Fair warning- speculation seems to be near consensus that little of that footage will actually appear is s2 - that it’s a deliberate effort by westworld to throw internet sleuths off the scent

I feel like i am okay with it going in the direction shown in the trailer or with it being a complete smokescreen

I just hope we get to see some of the Eastworld that was hinted at last season.

And I trust many saw the 25 minute (!) "Primer" video that the creators posted on Reddit this week . . .

You can watch it here or, at the risk of spoiling the "spoiler" video, there's a useful and, um, time-saving article at https://www.theringer.com/tv/2018/4...son-two-spoiler-prank-jonathan-nolan-lisa-joy

These violent delights have violent ends.

Great start to season two. Wyatt is a very big problem.

Off to a good start. Dare I say it...did I read the context right in the episode that they're setting up the Man in Black as almost a hero figure in season 2?

I don't know if hero would be the right description for him. Besides getting his wish for the game to be real, I still think he has ulterior motives. I think he is the one backing Charlotte's agenda.

Does robot Bernard have DNA? They made a point of mentioning it twice while in the underground lab.

A couple of points I totally missed but read today on a recap:
1. The Bernard in the opening scene was (maybe) original human Bernard, not later robot Bernard
2. One of the dead hosts in the lake was Teddy

That was definitely Arnold and Delores in the opening and their conversation foreshadowed Bernard's beach landing.

Was able to catch up on first 2 episodes...pretty good
Yea so Host Bernard is different and able to get by as a human??
Also Ford has projected his conscious into hosts so he can battle the man in black?
