Never experienced NYC at 90 degrees. It's pretty brutal. Then 6th had some street event so most traffic was on 7th, Broadway and 5th. Making the run up 5th to Central Park especially brutal.

Metro pass to the rescue only to have my 13 yr old swipe it 3x and not pay attention to the "green means go" so her ride cost 10 bucks. We were already on other side and she like "it says swipe again now" yeah u out of $$$. Had to hand her mine thru bars.

Yeah you caught at nice weather. Last 2 days in low 90s. But when that sun drops, 70s and low humidity. Really nice.

I just know how stepping off plane in New Orleans in another 10 days will feel like. Oppressive.
