I need a ruling - have we clarified if it needs to be Mariah actually singing?
My students have been singing it a bunch regardless of the problem great to their grades
- and occasionally they’ll do the musical intro but stop the music and sing the song
I feel this shouldn’t count (they’re musical theatre kids for chrissakes!!)

What are you worried about, I'm going to win this no mater what you encounter. My local grocery store would be the only risk I have of encountering Christmas music, and the thing is they don't even play music in the store.

They do however have a Salvation Army bell ringer outside on the sidewalk every year. That's bad enough.
