Here's a little Saints Trivia for you Old Timers (1 Viewer)

I could not name any of them.
Why can't we have the number 0 or 00 anymore?
Greg Romeus is blank, why not give him zero?

I got twelve without cheating- Logan, Kilmer, Roberts, Kelly, Abramowicz, Atkins, Kupp, Williams, Rowe, Tilleman, Durkee, Cuozzo.

Billy Kilmer, Danny A. Doug Atkins, Del Williams, Steve Stonebreaker, Obert Logan, Flea Williams,

Is #50 Jake Kupp or was that later?

0 Obert Logan
15 Gary Cuozzo

0 was Orbet Logan a long, long, long long time ago.

...and Ken Burrough was #00 a few years later. No other Saint has ever worn either number.
The only other number in Saint's history that has been worn by only one player is Archie Manning's #8.

Good job I knew a lot of these. Remember the controversy over Charley Durkee's shoe?

Telling my age but i was 13 years old in 1967 and had been watching NFL football for about 8 years when the saints came into existence. And just for the record...........there is no #87 in that pic. Monty Stickels didn't join the Saints till a couple of years later in 1969 after his misbehavings and shenanigans wore really thin with the Niners.

Terrific job, but #27 was Walter "the Flea" Roberts. He played WR for one season, then was traded to Detroit for QB Karl Sweetan. Bill Cody was #66.

I'm obviously not an old timer but abramowitz stands out like a sore thumb. Is #46 number retired?
