Hey, if Eli could come around... (1 Viewer)

Not even close -

Brandon Jacobs 6' 4" 264 lb.
Pierre Thomas 5' 11" 210 lb.

Jacobs is almost the size of a Guard. Thomas is typical NFL RB size. I agree after the Bears game that Thomas deserves more touches. And that Thomas might help lessen the sting if the Saints can't re sign Stecker but he and Jacobs are two different style backs entirely.....

For comparison purposes, look up the SI cover with him hugging Tiki Barber. Its hilarious how much bigger Jacobs is.

Could be. The ball was basically taken out of Eli's hands the past few games. He only had about half the throws he normally makes until yesterday.

In order for Reggie to come around, the same might have to happen. Don't always feed him the ball. Just be more selective.

QB is the most difficult position on the field to master. There haven't been very many great rookie QBs, but there've been a lot of great rookie RBs over the years b/c it's a position where instinctive moves count, where young legs and speed are at a premium, and where you only have to know your own assignments (not the entire offense, like the QB). So I'd say comparing Bush to Manning is off base.
