While for most of the country, and especially in New England and southern California, Super Bowl Sunday is a time for celebration, for the folks in New Orleans, it just reminds them how angry they are.
NFL officials missed a clear pass interference call that victimized the Saints in the NFC Championship Game, depriving the hometown team of a likely berth in Super Bowl LIII.
But that didn’t mean the people of New Orleans were just going to stay inside all day. On Sunday, the streets of the city were filled with Saints fans, all taking advantage of the occasion to express their disgust with the league and a Super Bowl they feel is tainted.
