Hill had his flaws, but... (1 Viewer)

Uh, he had 4 turnovers in one half. Granted one of them probably wasn't his fault but it still goes in the books as his.

Savage has better control of the offense but you see what you get in Hill...a scrambler with the ability to pass...he has a strong arm and extend drives with his legs...but he has to find his receivers we have skilled players in the backfield and out wide and we need a QB that can get these players the ball.

Savage is the #2 for spot duty, but if Brees went down long term, Hill would have a shot to take the job. It's hard to tell with him running all over 3rd stringers how much of that would translate against a 1st team defense. To me the best part of his game tonight was not the runs, but those passes he made on his last drive.

Both are making the team so it all works.

The only thing Taysum Hill can lead us to is the number 1 pick if Drew retires. He’d be great in a suck for luck type of year.

O way is he or Savage the long term answer.

I won’t pretend to know how far his development can take him, but what a strange statement to post after last night. Level of competition noted, but he played well.

So you decided to kickstart an old thread to bash a guy who played lights out last night?
