now this i can say everyone saw coming from a mile away.

That would free us up to go DE in the Draft or LT

Don't sleep on us choosing a LT 1st. Because o fthe rookie salaries now is the perfect time to grab a franchise LT in the draft without having to worry about it handicapping ur salary cap in the future.

That`ll be great if we can get him in for a visit.

NEWS: The Saints are high on free agent OLB Victor Butler's wish list.

ANALYSIS: Butler is currently visiting the Steelers, and they're reportedly pushing hard to land him to replace James Harrison. If he makes it out of Pittsburgh, then the next stop would likely be New Orleans with old defensive boss Rob Ryan. Butler, Martez Wilson, and Junior Galette would be a solid trio of young pass rushers. The Jets are reportedly targeting Butler, but the interest may not be mutual.

Now, it's starting to look like we'll have a real D on the field this year.

Yep, that guy ran a 4.7 at 250lbs in combine in 09, all NFLN was talking about him. Seem like that was just yesterday.

Isn't Butler more of a pass-rush specialist at OLB? Aren't we slotting Galette into that role? Don't we need a strong side OLB in the Kruger/Ahmad Brooks mold?

I just want good players on D at this point. We'll find a way to get them on the field.

Butler wouldn't be a good pickup for the Saints...He'd be a great pickup! I really hope he makes it to NO for a visit.
