Home surround/input question (1 Viewer)

I have question for those with audio expertise.

I have a Yamaha Aventage RX 780 A for my home theater system. running 2 zones ( inside and outside ) . We can channel thru Pandora, Spotify etc. but i cant get it to channel Youtube. Is it just impossible to do or am i missing something? I have the Yamaha app on phone to run it, but no where under input can i figure out how to connect to play music from youtube.

any ideas?

My (Onkyo) receiver is only limited to the apps it supports out of the box, and youtube isn't one of them. I can get it through Apple TV or Fire TV though.

Run YouTube through your TV. If your TV has a headphone output, connect a 3.5mm to RCA cable from the TV to an input on the receiver.
