This is just job creation. I can see armies of people walking through the crops with Qtips and touching every flower .....count me in.

Heh, the 1200 professional beekeepers left in 2009 actually worked pretty hard. Actually, some of the crops like almonds pretty much depend on them. It's been going on since the 80s as a slow decline, but just accelerated and got a lot of attention starting about 5-6 years ago.
