* A man attacked a Richmond Valley ATM with a tire iron after the machine swallowed a bank card, authorities said yesterday.
Lawrence Grey, 44, allegedly borrowed his sister's ATM card and attempted to use it at a Sovereign branch on Amboy Road at 2:50 p.m. last Thursday, cops said.
The machine took the expired card but refused to spit it back out, and Grey tried to pry open the cover, sources said.
He allegedly caused more than $1,500 in damage to the machine's faceplate and internal wiring.
A surveillance camera captured the incident and Grey was busted Monday for criminal mischief, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

* A nightclub patron was busted for pummeling a woman he accused of being a man outside a Coney Island hot spot, authorities said yesterday.
Jaquin Smalls, 25, clashed with the 23-year-old woman on West 14th Street and Surf Avenue at 4:11 a.m. Saturday, sources said.
Smalls allegedly yelled, "Why didn't you tell me you were a man?" then punched her. The victim, who suffered minor bruises, called cops.
Smalls was charged with assault, menacing and harassment, according to a spokesman for District Attorney Charles Hynes
* An upstate woman was arrested for beating up her ex-boyfriend on a TriBeCa street, investigators said yesterday.
Tracy Vanburen, 32, of Fishkill, was with the 45-year-old man at the ESPN Zone in Times Square at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday when they got into an argument, sources said. They ended up on Greenwich Street near Chambers Street, where the spat turned into a fight.
Vanburen allegedly struck the man, shoved him into the hood of a parked car and pummeled his face, leaving him with a black eye and bloody nose.
Vanburen was busted on charges of assault, attempted assault and harassment, according to a spokesman for District Attorney Robert Morgenthau.
