I don't think Mckennzie is that bad. He's not an all-pro, but he is servicable and best one back there right now.

Mckenzie is playign pro-bowl football this year. He just lacks Interceptions. They didn't complete a pass on MM the entire day. Not 1.

We have a lot of holes still. We need a couple DB's, we could use improvement at MLBer, we need a #3 reciever that won't have the stupid drops, we need a complete TE, but on top of all that we need better play calling. We need to establish the run and run early and often, something we have not done all year.

Thomas sucked 6 yres ago, and still does. Mckennzie sucked in GreenBay and in New Orleans as well.
If you really think MM sucked in Green Bay and still does today, I have to seriously question your football IQ.

Too predictable, too vanilla. Peyton is a West Coast Guy. This notion of establishing the run early is not the greatest philisophy in the world. Pass to set up the run. Take away the interceptions and we score 37 points today. There is no way I question the play-calling with that on my mind. Instead of worryinga bout establishing the run - and ultimately throwing away a very successful formula we've had all year - we need to work hard on fundamentals of carrying and catching the ball and making sure a linebacker is playing in a hookzone before immediately throwing to the flats...

Playing Devil's advocate here, none were thrown on his side because they kney that the left side was easy pickins.

SSP
TJ is a great reciever who has abused people all year. MM shut him down. Craft also shut down Henry.

There is truth in your statement, but that doesn't take away from the fact that MM shut down his guys all game. When CJ did line up on MM, MM handled him.

Well guys we can enjoy being tied or 1/2 game out of first place in the division for one more week and then we can start getting ready for the offseason, I just realized that I still don't have to eat Crow again this week. Next week Atlanta is coming off of a 3 game losing streak and you know what that means, another Saints loss. Hey it was still fun and we can still look for highlight plays each week. What happened to Colston? Is it an ankle sprain or a knee? Oh BTW Fred Thomas and Jason Craft are done.

What it means is they're going to lose four in a row.

My Football IQ is good, MM sucks...... The only tackles he gets is when someone else has alread hit the man with the ball, and if You watch the games really close you will see MM avoid contact! He is at best a #2 DB , but just our luck we don't have anyone better on the Team for him to be bumped down! We have had no one at DB since Haslett took over the Team , but next Year that will change.

Defensive Backs, MLB, Defensive Tacke, are 1,2,3 on the Offseason list, DB's should be a draft day thing, cause its gonna cost alot to sign a vet and we need to get Hollis Thomas and Grant resigned.....but we all knew (just hoped) that Defense was gonna be the problem spot for this team, cause Offense was always the side of the ball with talent.

Huh? In the Steelers game, he was the only db I even remember making contact with a Steeler.

We're over analyzing here. It's really pretty simple - stop the turnovers and we probably beat the Ravens, Steelers and Bengals. Three pretty good teams. Doesn't matter if we're balanced or not - we don't turn the ball over we win. And yes Brees has been "untouchable" on the board,,,and you have to love the guy for how he has played and what he has done in the communitiy. But today he made a lot of incredible throws, but he also made a few really bad decisions on the interceptions. I imagine he will be the first to admit it. But I am so THANKFUL we were able to get him and really believe he will lead us to a Superbowl. I think MM is playing well, just not making interceptions. Fred Thomas was absolutely horrible today. CJ may be an All-Pro but FT looked like a mediocre high school player. We definetly need to be ultra agressive going after Clements if he hits the market in the off-season. Bottom line, we get focused on stopping the turnovers and we still have a very good chance of winning the division and getting in the playoffs
