The Hornets need to average 14,735 from December 1st 2007 until the completion of the 2008-2009 regular season.
After the game with the Rockets, the average attendance is 14,226.344. We need to have 1,078,125 people pass thru the turnstyles. To date we have had 412,564. We need 665,561 people to pass thru those same turnstyles during the next 46 games. We need to average 14,468 .717.

I will update after every game.
2007 average: 14,226.344
Total attendance: 412,564
Need: 665,561
Must average: 14,268.717
Games left: 46.

I think you need to check your math.

If we currently average 14,226 and we need to average 14,735, 14,468 is not going to cut it.

According to the TP, the number is in the 15,100 range. But it is becoming irrelevant as a new deal that gets rid of the benchmarks is in the works.

While the attendance option is still official, the ultimate point was that the organization wanted the fans to step up to the plate. Obviously, we have been doing that. I really think in the mind of Shinn, at this point right now, New Orleans has proven that it's behind this team. Next year should be pretty easy. Season tickets should sky-rocket leaving game-to-game tickets relatively scarce.
