Hot chocolate - whatcha got? (1 Viewer)

Sometimes I like to mix hot chocalate with chocolate milk. I call it special drink.

Amaretto Hot Chocolate Recipe - Chowhound

Combine 1/2 cup whole milk and 1/4 cup heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat and cook until simmering, about 4 minutes.

Add 5 ounces good-quality milk chocolate, coarsely chopped and whisk until completely melted and well incorporated, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat, whisk in some amaretto, and serve immediately.

i was making some package hot chocolate for the kids - and then remembering the popcorn thread - i knew there had to be umpteen variations out there

i've tried a few times but i've never been able to recreate the hot chocolate i had in Madrid - just amazing
